Join us at 1.30pm on Saturday 2nd September for a walk from Hopeman to Lossiemouth in honour of our church founders
On Saturday 2nd of September, we will walk from Hopeman to Lossiemouth in honour of the founders of Hopeman Baptist Church and the journey they took every week, twice a day to attend the nearest Baptist congregation; Lossiemouth Baptist Church. The walk is in celebration of our 125th year!
Everyone is welcome to participate - whether you attend Hopeman Baptist or live in Hopeman or Lossiemouth or simply want to honour and take part in something historic and for the entire village - and will meet at 1:30pm at the church. We will have a 2pm start leaving from the church and walk along the coast to Lossiemouth.
It’s about a 6 mile walk and will take approx 2- 2 1/2 hours. On arrival in Lossiemouth, we will very kindly be received by Lossiemouth Baptist Church. There will be refreshments at 4.30pm approx. followed by a time of praise and thanksgiving led by Lossie Baptist. We are so thankful and blessed to be able to celebrate our 125th anniversary with Lossie Baptist in this way!
